ALLPROET400LVR
DESCRIPTION
The ET400LVR is a small aperture low voltage remodel housing for providing accent and task lighting. The ET400LVR is designed for use in non-insulated existing ceiling or for existing insulated ceilings where insulation can be kept 3" from all sides of the housing. It can be installed from below the ceiling.
Housing
Die-stamped 20 gauge CRS with white powder coat finish.
Junction Box
U.L. listed for through branch circuit wiring. Six conduit knockouts are uniform 1/2" size with true pryout slots. Four “NM” cable pryouts with integral strain relief also included.
Socket
Ceramic socket with reflector disc for bi-pin MR16 lamps.
Remodel Clips
Four remodel clips secure housing and accommodate 1/2” and 5/8” ceiling thickness.
Transformer
120V magnetic transformer steps line voltage down to lamp operating voltage.
Support
Support helps support weight of junction box and transformer. Threaded stem can be adjusted for varying ceiling thicknesses.
Thermal Protector
Self resetting thermal protector deactivates fixture if overheating occurs due to improper lamping or misapplied insulation.
